With over 11 years of experience working in the WA public sector, Kaila is an adaptable Human Resources (HR) practitioner who is optimistic, collaborative and people centric in her approach to human resource management (HRM). Kaila works in partnership with her clients and draws on her diverse skills and experience to seek solutions to complex matters, engage with key stakeholders and facilitate continuous improvement. Kaila possesses an understanding of contemporary WA public sector HR policies, frameworks, and legislative requirements. 

Kaila strives to foster and maintain effective and purpose driven relationships to collaborate and deliver services that achieve operational objectives and align to organisational outcomes. With a passion for coaching and supporting clients in managing complex matters through her ‘people centred’ approach, Kaila’s breadth of generalist skills and experience in a wide range of HRM include; recruitment and selection, diversity and inclusion, HR strategy and planning, classification, redeployment and redundancy case management, training delivery, HR policy and procedure development, performance and grievance management and work health and safety including; psychosocial safety and wellbeing, fitness for work and workers compensation. Kaila has experience in change management and structural implementation. Being highly adaptable, Kaila has the ability to learn quickly and apply her skills in new situations and agencies, resulting in efficient and high-quality outcomes for stakeholders.
